The University is developing its new campus in Dheerpur in North Delhi. The 110-acre (0.45 km2) campus will include a 60-acre (240,000 m2) biodiversity park to conserve the wetlands. Until being developed, the university is holding the classes from its Dwarka campus, and the erstwhile Indraprastha University campus housed in Kashmere Gate and Indraprashta University is shifting to Dwarka Sector-14 now. The future campus is planned to be energy-efficient, ecologically-frugal and disabled-friendly. It will include academic, residential, recreational and social facilities for students and staff.[2]
